Our hospital facilities.
Cat Ward
Nothing is more stressful for a sick cat than a barking dog. This hospital ward is for cats only. It is a quiet and relaxing room, providing a quiet stress free environment for hospitalised cats. Our cat ward is constantly monitored.
Surgery Suite
Victoria Veterinary clinics have a dedicated surgical suite with a full range of surgical equipment to handle routine to complex surgical procedures. We can provide complex orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, including spinal surgery.
We also perform routine surgery procedures such as desexing.
During surgical procedures, your animal is closely monitored by respiratory and cardio vascular monitors to ensure anaesthetic safety.
Ultrasound and X-Ray Rooms
We have separate wards for digital X-Ray and Ultrasound/echocardiography using advanced high definition equipment. We see a lot of cardiac cases and Dr Chris and Dr. Jeremy have had extensive training in echocardiography and can make rapid and accurate diagnoses allowing targeted treatment for your pet’s illness.
Dental X-Ray
We have a dental X-Ray machine which allows fine detail radiography of teeth and surrounding bone to accurately direct treatment.
Consulting
We have comfortable consult rooms allowing us to minimise waiting time by enabling up to 4 doctors to consult at the same time.
Intensive Care
We have oxygen tents, pulse oximeters, ECG, advanced monitoring equipment, clinical pathology results in 10 minutes, bear hugger active warming pillows, blood pressure monitoring, infusion pumps, with constant around-the-clock monitoring by staff.
Dental Suite
We have a dedicated dental suite for dental surgery, with advanced pneumatic equipment. Dr. Gerry has had post-graduate training in dentistry and spends a lot of his time in the dental ward.
Clinical Pathology
With advanced equipment, we are able to perform most of our blood tests in our hospital, allowing rapid results in around 10 minutes.
