Complex medical diagnostics and treatment
Our doctors with post-graduate qualifications in internal medicine accept referrals of complex cases every day for 24-hour hospitalisation and work-up using clinical pathology and imaging (digital X-ray, ultrasound/echocardiography, and endoscopy). Advanced treatment options include blood transfusions, chemotherapy for cancer patients, and wireless continuous blood glucose monitoring devices for diabetic patients.

Clinical Pathology
We are able to perform most blood tests in our hospital and receive reports in 10-20 minutes using IDEXX high-tech automated clinical pathology machines. We also culture samples in our incubator to identify urinary tract infections, as well as perform cytology in-house with Diff-Quik staining and microscopic examination.

Dental Checks & Surgery
Dental disease is one of the most common diseases affecting domestic cats and dogs. Although it may appear to be simply “dirty teeth” and “smelly breath”, dental disease can in fact have far reaching health consequences. It is known that dental disease has been linked to heart disease, liver and kidney disorders. In addition, it leads to chronic mouth pain and discomfort.
We have a specialised dental suite capable of offering a full range of dental procedures. We are one of the few clinics in Hong Kong with digital dental x-ray equipment.

We often see young puppies and kittens with illness and we have an incubator which allows us to keep them warm and comfortable while they are hospitalised.

Geriatric disease is a big part of both human and animal medicine, and many of our ageing patients are monitored with routine blood tests to identify and treat problems that inevitably develop.
